Serious believers vs. hooligans
NOTICE ARCHIVE - 13/01/2023People do not turn their back to religions just because they are attracted by science, technology, entertainment, secular pleasure or lack of faith. The main reason may be that the practitioners and cultivators of the main religions do not understand – or ignore - their own basic messages and scope, which is peace and tune in harmony with the Creation.
A fanatic is a person who is extremely interested in something, to a degree that some people find it unreasonable. However, here is a distinct boarder: If the fanatic doesn´t disturb others, other people have no reason to reclaim. But, if the fanatic disturbs or try to force his beliefs on others, he should just be considered as a hooligan.
And there are many.
In my opinion, the religious hooligans are the ones who most remove people from the religions. The leaders, the cultivator hooligans are self-centered persons who use the ideology as instrument for their own aspiration of power or greed. The practitioner hooligans, also self-centered, join it for gaining social status or a ticket to some Paradise. When the mosques roar out their messages from the unconventional electric loudspeakers, you can hardly believe they have read the several appliances for peace in the Qur'an. Like: “If the enemy is inclined towards peace, make peace with them”. “And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression”. (Qur'an, 5:2).
Islam essentially means "peace" and to socialize peace. Islam leads to the path of peace, leads to be patient, all on the base of truth and justice. At least that was the idea. So, if the so-called practitioners were aware of their own Holy Scripture, how can they use loudspeakers that scream out peaceful words in a loud and aggressive tone?
Wearing a hijab, dressing up to the mosque, doing the wuhdu, fasting at Ramadhan, praying to God, but still being aggressive and dramatic, does not fit. And still worse, if making a lot of tricky things behind the back, then all visual and theatrical efforts are in vain. Then, they have not turned themselves to God, no, instead they have only made up something for their own social purposes.
Christian so called “churches” are in some countries growing up like mushrooms around poor areas. A corrupt self-nominated chaplain, often upgraded as “reverend”, picks up some radical chapter in the Bible and make his business around it. The weirder the text, the easier to make a dramatic enchanting performance. Then they pollute the neighborhood by screams and fuzz, hours and hours consecutive, even late in the night, totally intolerant to the the residents in the surroundings.
Not only most humans suffer from this sound pollution. Has anybody thought about the poor animals? As not even rational thinking people can understand the meaning of all this chaos, how can animals understand? They must be trembling with fear, from small ants to big horses.
Please, save us from the prophets of Heaven who have one foot in Hell.
Hooligans. In religion. In football. In political demos. In feminism. In environmentalism. The bold distinction is not between religions. It is between the aggressive restless masses and the true, peaceful believers, whatever is the ideology or association we are talking about. Hooligans want attention and social status and their cynical leaders use it to gain power and wealth. Put them all in very hard work so they get so quiet and tired that they start to seek peace and finally understand how to behave.
