Horrible pictures pop up from the Ukraina war. I am not sure if the very detailed and intime documentation is because the last years advances in cellphone technology and communication advances or of a special interest by West in this war in particular. Very bad things happened also in Iraq and Libia, but it was not at all spread with the same imprint of propaganda.
A mother had to identify her 20 years old son in a mortuary. She is of course desperate by sorrow and will be carrying this weight the rest of her life. However, it turns out that the son was active in the military academy. Many young men apply to a career of military or police. Do they and their relatives understand that such professions, in the peak, is most about spilling blood and suffering the most adverse conditions? Or are they enchanted by digital war-games, medals and special benefits for salary and retirement.
Are they aware they sell their body to the government? And that it is mandatory to obey whatever the government decide? And in the real war situation, their soul will soon be included in that price?
I am not talking about drafted recruits, conscripts. Only about the men and women who seek a carrier in such profession. It starts there, with their own choice.
What did their mother tell them when they addressed the news of their choice? Any argumentation? Or just a proud gaze, imaging their kid in tidy uniform, shining boats and medal on the chest. Not an intensive argumentation that it could be a bullet in the chest? What did the mother tell her child when he was young? Did she have time to guide him around the dangerous cliffs and train his mind to be peaceful and responsible in an honest way? Or did she just leave him alone in front of the video games? Yes, it´s about the mother´s duty because it is mostly the women who are given the role as eternal crying victims, so the other side of that coin is their responsibility.
And it is clear as glass that the professions of police and military are careers of prostitution – with few exclusions. Only those who serve their country with the heart of a patriot, execute moral laws and serve a government which policy they agree, only they are true and serious professionals. How often is that the case? From 1st of January 2003 to 31st of December of 2018, Brazil suffered under a left socialist government. A government, composed by people who 30 years earlier happily sent bullets and bombs towards police and military. It is totally against the traditional conviction of the governments armed force to deal friendly with such rebels. But if those communists in some way manage to infiltrate the nation by the backdoor or by the window the corrupt media opens, then it is suddenly the enemy who is the boss. Military and police had from 2003 two acceptable choices, to quit or throw out the communists from the government. We know, no putsch, we know, the most stayed in charge. Prostitution!
Professional military who believes deep in your soul in your government and what you are doing, stay firm and do whatever must be done. But if you are just there for benefits, you better quit to a brothel and sell your ass instead of your soul. That is more correct.
